Today I would like to introduce you to a dessert in which vegan white brittle chocolate is being used. This strawberry chocolate dessert is wonderfully creamy and hides a filling of crispy almond brittle and rice flakes inside. This combination is prepared as a fluffy chocolate cream in connection with freshly cooked strawberries is like a dream.
Strawberry Dessert with White Brittle Chocolate (vegan)
Organic ingredients (for 4 servings):
For the cream:
- 1 1/4 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1.75 oz crème fraîche (or sour cream)
- 2 bars (70 g / 2.4 oz each) hand-scooped chocolate White Brittle Vegan
- some ground vanilla (or use a bit of the inside of a vanilla bean)
For the jelly:
- 7 oz pureed strawberries
- 7 oz strawberries cut into small pieces
- 7 oz sugar
Preparation:
Add the heavy whipping cream to a saucepan and heat it up slightly. Finely chop the chocolate and add to the cream. Stir well, pour into a bowl, and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
In the meantime, add the mashed strawberries, chopped strawberries, and sugar to a saucepan and simmer for 3 minutes. Then let it cool down as well.
Using a hand mixer, whip the chocolate cream until fluffy, add the crème fraîche and stir in.
Spread part of the fresh strawberry jelly in the dessert glasses, add the chocolate cream and cover with the remaining strawberry jelly. Decorate with a fresh strawberry on top and enjoy. Good Appetite!
Enjoy!
