• Aperitif: Sparkling wine and Muscaris white wine from our own vineyards, craft beer or homemade lemonade

• Choco Tour featuring many tasting stations (self-guided / at your own pace)
• Edible Zoo: organic adventure farm & food culture (self-guided / at your own pace)

We invite you to visit our Organic Deli or Wing Bar where you will be greeted with an aperitif and served our freshly baked homemade bread and tapas. Following this delightful welcome, you will have the opportunity to embark on a self-guided Choco Tour, immersing yourself in the captivating world of chocolate production. Along the way, you’ll encounter approximately 300 varieties of both traditional and unique chocolates, pralines, and bonbons at our creatively designed tasting stations, allowing you to indulge to your heart’s content.

In addition, we invite you to relax and enjoy the serene ambiance of our Edible Zoo, where you can witness the workings of an organic farm and experience firsthand how we care for our happy, beautiful animals. It’s a perfect opportunity to unwind, revel in nature, and gain insight into our sustainable farming practices.

Immerse yourself in the world of chocolate!

During the exciting tasting tour through the Chocolate Theatre you will witness live how chocolate is created. You can look inside our production through the glass architecture and at the same time check out at the tasting stations how the cocoa bean is transformed into chocolate. From the bean to the bar. Chocolate is an experience! On the chocolate tasting tour, you can try as much chocolate as you like!

In the Chocolate Theatre we take you on “A Cocoa Journey Around the World” to Peru, Nicaragua, Belize, Madagascar and India. The best-of of all our film journeys of the last few years, since May 2022 in a new, previously unreleased and entertaining version with English subtitles by the Austrian filmmaker Roland Wehap.

Choco Tour with audio guide and 30 tasting stations:

• Cocoa Cinema: What does cocoa actually look like and where does it grow? Let us take you on a cinematic journey to the cocoa farmers in Latin America.
• Bean-to-Bar Factory: You will not only see each step in the production of chocolate from roasting and grinding to refining and conching,but you are also presented with a sensory experience – you get to taste the product for yourself at each step.
• Sugar and Milk Samples
• Cocoa Roastery: Taste freshly roasted cocoa beans from many different countries of origin. Taste the difference!
• Raw Cocoa Mass Fountain: Looks like chocolate but isn’t.
• Cocoa Nibs:Roasted cocoa beans, broken up into small pieces.
• Coffee Bean Cruncher: Try our freshly roasted and fairly traded organic coffee beans
• Ground Cocoa Powder: Nowhere near the finished product and definitely not a chocolate, but already tastes pretty good even when it’s only ground-up powder.
• Conching Times Gallery: Experience how different conching times alter the flavour of chocolate.
• Vegan Chocolate Fountain: Here, vegan milk chocolate drips from Granny’s spoons.
• Conching Time Machine: Our Labooko range presents dark chocolates with an increasing cocoa content from the best cocoagrowing regions in the world.
• Choco Refill Station: Bubbling chocolate fountains
• Smellery and Curiosity Cabinet: Guess the fragrance game and enjoy the ingredients show
• Choco Uni Fair Sum: Our small-scale universe features small spaceships making their rounds.
• Endorphin Roller Coaster: Organic bonbons are whizzing by, grab one quickly!
• Salad of Leaves Buffet: My favourite salad is made of chocolate. Wafer-thin chocolate bars in various flavours
• Pop Art Corn: Sweet popcorn coated with chocolate.
• Nashido + Biofekt Robot: Simply order a bonbon or a small, filled Nashido bar via our touchscreen menu, and a chocolate robot will serve it in no-time.
• Craft Akt Grinder: While the grindstones turn, you can taste liquid chocolate samples from the Craft Akt range – our precious experiments, only available in a limited quantity.
• Hammer Choco: You can snack on our Hammer Choc with nuts and fruit right at the workbench and enjoy its cracking flavour!
• Squaring the Circle: To access the sugar-alternative chocolates, simply press the buzzer and the cloche rises to reveal the sweet treasures for tasting

• Mitzi Blue “Radio Active“: These round chocolate discs are available „in the mix“ with a cool decor as a record player topping – a chance to snack while listening to music on headphones.

• Choco Lolly Stairway to Heaven: Chocolate lollies for kids
• Drinking Chocolate & Xocitto Bar: Here we have our delicious drinking chocolates and Xocitto, the 100% cocoa smoothie, mixed just with water. A power drink you can enhance with sugar and milk or enjoy neat.
• Light Bulbs Chocolate onLine: The smallest cable car in the world serves you delicious couverture in the shape of little light bulbs.
• Choco Flakes in Swimming Caps: Crunchy choco flakes
• Balleros Cauldron Bar: Crunchy miracles roll in copper cauldrons.
• Running Chocolate:  The chocolate finale: hand-scooped chocolates with seductive and eccentric fillings, as well as our new “Cheery & Nuts” bars, a tender-melting praline and fruit duo.
• Pickle Fishing: After this much chocolate, a cornichon straight off the fishing line is the perfect palate cleanser.

At our Organic Deli, you can discover delectable treats sourced from the Edible Zoo. We gladly serve you wine from our wine bar, along with homemade desserts and exceptional espresso, all while enjoying the soothing backdrop of relaxing music. Rest assured, our coffee beans are organic and sourced through fair trade, roasted in-house.

For hot dogs, fries, beer, lemonade, and more, visit our Organic Hot Dog Stand “Airstreamer” or our newly introduced Courtyard Grill. The Courtyard Grill is your go-to spot for everything related to burgers and other grilled dishes, embracing the theme of “Grill & Chill”.

Would you like to enjoy a picnic in the Edible Zoo? You can grab sandwiches, cakes, and beverages to take away from our organic restaurant and deli. These delightful treats can be enjoyed at the various seating areas located within the Edible Zoo. Additionally, we have vending machines in the zoo area offering our homemade drinks.

New Art Park

We are excited to announce the recent opening of our new Art Park, featuring ponds and serving as one of our latest attractions. Here, you can admire a multitude of vibrant and creatively designed installations and sculptures by renowned artists like Paul Mühlbauer, Helmut Kohl, and Josef Lederer.

Enjoy art in the beautiful atmosphere and scenery of our Edible Zoo, relax and watch our animals. Lots of action and fun await at the adventure playground, the giant slide and the Farmer’s Golf course.

Attractions in the Edible Zoo:

• Animals – sheeps, goats, Highland cattles, Old Styrian chicken and many more. New inhabitants: Wallabies, Alpacas and Ostriches! Our animals
• Zoo Stories (digital audio guides) – 99 information signs with QR codes inform in 9 languages about animals, plants and other highlights within the edible zoo.
• Moai & Art Park – A smoking Moai and many other sculptures and puns can be found in the Zoo, especially in the new Art Park with its ponds.
• Sunny path – with various fruit and berry varieties from Austria.
• Mother-in-Law’s Garden – Where toxic and medical plants sprout
• Golden Photo Shooting Riegersburg – Take your panorama photo of the famous castle in the XXL-frame.
• Photovoltaic mover – The Edible Zoo is completely energy self-sufficient. The park is supplied by a large photovoltaic installation with nine photovoltaic tracking panels. They follow the sun like sunflowers and produce more than 100,000 kilowatts per year.
• Sun terrace – Enjoy the sun and the panoramic view
• Interactive children’s kitchen – Kids can play and learn where our food comes from.
• Herbal wall – our herbs grow on the frontage of the house – this is the architecture for the third millennium.

^*All our products containing dairy don’t carry the USDA Organic Seal anymore, as there is an exemption in the organic equivalency agreement between the U.S. and the EU when it comes to the use of antibiotics. While in the US an animal which has been treated with antibiotics cannot be used in the production ever again, the EU allows a certain wait time until the animal can be used again for the production of dairy. It still means our products are 100% organic certified in the EU, but they are not in the US. All our vegan, dairy free products are also 100% USDA organic certified.
